- Execute daily prep list as prepared by executive and sous chefs
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace: label and stock all ingredients, wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, garbage removal
- Prepare all necessary items for service: measure ingredients and seasonings; wash and chop vegetables as specified; cut meat; etc.
- Undertake basic cooking duties: reduce sauces, parboil food, prepare simple salads, sandwiches, or entrees as required
- Compliance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Other kitchen duties to support the culinary team as assigned
- At least two years experience as a prep or line cook in a restaurant or catering entity
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety in a kitchen environment
- Skill and manual dexterity with cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- Comfort with different knife cuts
- Ability to function in a high-volume, bulk production environment
- You are a team player with a warm personality and honest values
- DOH Food Handler’s license preferred
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and holidays as required
- Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs
- Competitive compensation ($18.00 - $20.00 per hour), commensurate with experience
